A Welcome Reunion for a Great Cause

This year’s Brewnity picnic was held at Croton Point Park. It was fantastic to continue this tradition along with Nothern Westchester Brewers Guild, Dogs of Wort and the New York City Homebrewers Guild after a one year hiatus.

Proceeds from the picnic allowed us to donate $700 to Feeding Westchester. Our donation will go toward sourcing summer produce which will be distributed to Feeding Westchester’s nearly 300 community partners and programs—such as food pantries, soup kitchens, and shelters—including their Fresh Markets and Mobile Food Pantry which serves families in need throughout Westchester County. Well done, all!

Huge thanks to Casey for organizing such a phenomenal event and for the volunteers who made it happen including: Dave, Fred, Steven and Tos.

A number of friends of the club donated items for the raffle:

      • Andrada Heating and Cooling
      • Bitter and Esters
      • Captain Lawrence Brewing Company
      • Cornell’s Brew shop
      • Cortlandt Colonial Manor Restaurant
      • Decadent Ales
      • Hudson River Expeditions
      • Soul Brewing Co.

And kudos to WHO member Mike whose Barrels and BBQ smoked the pig. Pictures can be found on Instagram.
