Last Brewer Standing Round One Results!

First of all, I want to thank everyone who participated in round one of the Last Brewer Standing challenge. We had twelve beers entered, which is phenomenal!

Here are the numbers (those are scores, not ABV!):

We definitely have a couple of takeaways from the first round. Somehow the water pitchers that Jack put out for us (for the most part) never made their way from the bar to the tables. We’ll make sure that happens moving forward, so we have a chance to cleanse the palate between samples. Adjustments have been made to the scoring sheet for the next round, so that a box can be checked next to the appropriate score for each aspect of the beer.

Round Two will take place at our May meeting (May 22) and the style is North American Ales. The guidelines will be sent out in a club email.

Happy Brewing!
